To-DoLocated on the River Tees, Queen's is a great place for all sorts of water sports, with a wonderful stretch of non-tidal river frontage. Our new boat house by the river provides facilities for students and staff, and whether you're into sailing, kayaking, canoeing or rowing, waterskiing, jet-skiing or rafting, you have easy access to a range of excellent facilities.
QC's multi-million pound Sports Centre provides a superb environment to workout and keep fit, with a fully-equipped fitness suite, an impressive range of state-of-the-art facilities and a variety of exercise classes. There are also two theatre societies based at Queen's - Infinity Musical Theatre (IMT), set up by students in October 2009, and Awesome College Theatre (ACT). Both provide the opportunity for people of any ability to take part in performances at the professional ARC theatre in Stockton. The societies encourage both performers and non-performers to join, including those who would prefer to get involved with the technical side of things. |
